Woman to sue husband for concubinage, file disbarment cases

CEBU -- A woman in Cebu City is determined to sue her husband, a fellow lawyer, after she caught him allegedly cheating on her Thursday night.

The husband was with another woman, who also happened to be a lawyer.

The wife, who was tailing the couple, said the two went to a pension house in Cebu. She saw her husband's car in the said pension house's parking lot.

She flattened the tires of the car to prevent the couple from going anywhere else.

She then went up to their room and started knocking on the door, but her husband and the alleged mistress refused to come out. The wife called up the police and sought assistance to arrest the two.

There were negotiations but the two refused to come out.

After 11 hours, at 8 a.m. on Friday, the two came out of the room and were taken directly to Mabolo Police Station.

The wife said the woman was a colleague of her husband. She said she is aware that the two have been having an affair for some time now. She was even able to talk to the woman when she called up her husband a few weeks ago.

The wife and her husband have been married for three years and are childless.

The woman said she will have her husband and the woman disbarred.

She will also file concubinage and Violence Against Women and Children charges against her husband.
