actually nangapply man ko diha sa coral point but feel nako wala ko nadawat kay wala naman ko tawage, hehe.. but akong amiga empleyado siya didto. ingon siya ok raman daw ug batasan si Pelaez, but suma rapud na niya since i don't know the guy personally..
I do respect your choice of candidate for the upcoming elections but I wish that you do more research on the candidates first. Let us not rely on the things we hear and read from the radio and tabloids. Let us be proactive in choosing our leaders, the people we choose to intrust our tax money and our future. We must be responsible voters and invest time in getting to know the candidates and in choosing who is best deserving to be elected since we are responsible for all the corruption that occur in the government since we are the ones electing them.

I would just like to correct the information that you have heard regarding Lando Patalinjug. I'm not being bias here but he is my choice for Lapu Lapu mayor and I'd like to tell you why:

    1. HE IS NOT Radaza's puppet. He is in fact considered as Radaza's only competition and greatest threat in the mayoral seat since he entered the race, throwing Pelaez out of the picture. You do not ask a man to run for a post who can and will actually win a post that you're also running for just to divide the votes.

    2. The Kusgano Party under PDP-Laban (their party name) has invested much time and effort in running a campaign against the Radaza's in ending the inhumane crime of corruption that has persisted in the city for 15 years now ever since they R's have been elected into power. It is one of the party's platforms, to end the corruption, to end drugs, to give the basic and proper services the Oponganons desperately need and, to plan long term for the upliftment and growth of the city.

    3. The platform of the party is simple but essential. One of their major projects, when elected, is to build a tertiary level hospital that will meet the needs of the city's population for the next 20 years.

If you have paid close attention to our city, you might observe that our hospital is rotten. It has been there for as long as I can remember and there haven't been any significant improvement in the services and facilities. If you haven't heard of a city hospital or seen it ever then there you go, we have one but to call it a hospital is an insult to other hospitals.15 years in the City Hall is enough time for a high ranking official to build a hospital that would meet the demands of our City's population yet they haven't done anything. As a desperate move since the administration has received alot of backlash during the campaig regarding the condition of the facility, they finally decided to improve it and I have seen a poster of the renovation of the hospital but why just this March? Is it enough? How about the patients occupying and getting treatment? Won't the dust, noise and inconvenience even cause more hassle to the patients? (If in a very critical situation where I'd die at home or go to the nearest hospital, I'd rather stay at home because for sure I will still die if I go there.) The hospital was built when the City's population was less than 10k, now we are more than 50k and that number is increasing. As elected officials, it is their job to provide services not short term or election period projects but they must think long term. It's just basic planning. *Planning doh, planohon man gani nimo unsa imong sul.ubon kung naay party unya #ootd ra na ha! City pa kaha!* Building a city is not playing lego, you cannot just dissamble things so easily when things don't fit and work together.

    4. Lando Patalinjug is lumad taga Lapu Lapu! (300 years under the Spaniards was enough. We "indios" cannot just allow it we must choose our own, BISAYA) Their old house was situated at the center of the city which is now the lot where La Nueva mercado is currently situated thus he knows the city and the people very well, I mean the man has lived and worked in the city his entire life. The late mayor Max was his uncle and is definitely one of the reasons why he decided to run for office. He has experienced the time when the city was progressing and was slowly becoming a city to be reckoned with. It was during Max's time that the economic zone (MEPZ) was built. It has definitely helped progressed not just the city but also its constituents. Lando has worked in MEPZ for more than 30 years as Divison Chief and he's one of the people responsible for the growth and boom of the economic zone.
***PLUS: he was awarded last August 2015 as one of the TEN OUTSTANDING CEBUANOS: for government service***

Unfortunately he has also experienced this time wherein the only good thing we see in our city is the improvement of roads (good but that's all we get roads and rampada) and the mayor's effort to beautify the city by painting that very unnecessary, COSTLY and annoying pattern on the walls, sidewalks, islands, and empty cracked plant boxes. Shouldn't sidewalks and center islands be painted yellow or white so that it can be visible to drivers at night? Safety first, hello! The city may have many awards but does that feed the poor and provide them roofs over their heads at night? Does it make commuting to work/school in the morning easy? Does it provide the medicine I need when I go to our hospital? Does it help in sending our children to school? Does it make me feel safe when I walk around at night? HELL NO! And traffic is getting worse than ever.

I have attended two of PARTIDO KUSGANO's rallies and I must say, they do actually have the sincerity for public service. Trust me when I say that their campaign is definitely not B**ll**it. 15 years is enough, you're in high school at 15 years old and that's a very loooooong time! we need CHANGE! +DUTERTE
(I mean you don't enter politics with a man who is known to kill for justice so when you do, and they currently are, it means that they must be doing something right, right?)

I do respect your point sir and I'm happy that you are against Radaza but sad to say we are on a different side.
I just want to share my ideas also on some of the items you raised here.

Below is the 2013 Election Result in Lapu-Lapu City, I grab that from Rappler. I'm not sure if that's the final result but as what I've heard, Pelaez got around 54k votes and NONE OF THOSE ARE PAID VOTES.

Source: 2013 Election Results: Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu | Comelec Live Data | Philippine National and Local Elections | Updated Real Time

In fact, Pelaez won here in mainland but he was defeated in the islands. Registered voters in the islands is about 10% of the total registered voters in Lapu-Lapu City which is around 19k and the difference in votes is just around 10k. So karon iyang vice mayor nga si Rudy Taneo and 1 councilor nga si Nefie Mata is from Olanggo para ma tutokan ang election didto and naa sad tingog ang taga isla kung sila ang modaog.

So I don't believe that Lando Patalinjug is the only competition and greatest threat to Radaza's. Wala ko kahibaw kinsa nga group ang nanglangkat pero it shows that Pelaez is a big threat.

Pelaez is also fighting against Radaza's corruption before pa siya nidagan ug mayor sa Lapu-Lapu City. Below article is one of those cases he filed against Radaza's computer scam. The article is dated June 2008 but it says that Pelaez has charged Radaza last September so its 2007 pa and Pelaez first run for mayor in 2010.

This is also one of Pelaez major project if he gets elected and naa nah sa iyang FB which you can check below:

Other main project of Pelaez is cleaning of Lapu-Lapu City since most tourist sa Cebu or even other regions like Bohol moagi sa Lapu-Lapu City since naa diri ang airport but pwerte hugawa sa Lapu-Lapu City. You can check his post below about garbage in Lapu-Lapu City and below article about Pelaez suing Lapu-Lapu mayor over garbage:

The Radazas, her vice mayor and councilors, I believe are lumad taga Lapu-Lapu pero look what they do to our beloved City. So being lumad does not make you a better mayor or local government official. So for me I don't care if lumad or not, what's important is your desire to improve & make Lapu-Lapu City great and I believe that Pelaez is determined to make Lapu-Lapu City great.

For me, he should stand as the different Patalinjug, the new Patalinjug.

I have nothing against Lando Patalinjug, I don't know him personally and dili sad ko sweto about niya pero if he is really against corruption here in Lapu-Lapu, I suggest he will join with Pelaez to fight against Radaza's. If dili siya ganahan mo join then he could fight on his own or with his team. He should continue to fight against corruption with or without election just like Pelaez.

    NOTE:

Parehas raman unta silag tuyo ug tumong so they better collaborate for the common good. I researched my candidates well and I'm convinced na si Pelaez rajud ang tinood na oposisyon. Parehas rana sauna Ni Ahong Chan. Look at him now , nagpabiling alipores sa mga Radaza. So if tinuod man galing Ning mga plataporma sa team Patalinjug, nakighiusa nalang unta sila sa Team Pelaez. Pero tungod Ani ilang strategy, mAgpa bilin
Gihapon ang team Deretso na magmadaugon kay ang mga binayran nila Daan magpa bilin man to nga solid..

As what you said sir, naay issue si Angel sa smuggling. Kadungog sad ko ani before.

For me walay isog nga ni fight against Radaza, si Pelaez ra.

For me siya ra man jud ang pinaka qualified nga modala sa Lapu-Lapu ron.
He has been fighting against Radaza's before pa siya ni join sa election and hangtud karon.
