At least diri sa Pinas, tolerable pa ang terrorist activities sa atong muslim freedom fighter "brothers"... They seldom attack major civilian establishments.

Kay if ever they might, these "freedom fighters" have relatives (sons, daughters, nephews, etc..) studying in our schools, working in private / government sectors, business ("DVD"2x)... basin ma tuli^ / laplap ang mga civilians if mag buang2x sila.

Religion is like alcohol. Just as you must drink alcohol moderately, so too must religion be moderately practiced and observed...or better yet, avoided totally (for those who care comfortable with uncertainty and unanswered questions). Once you step into the domain irrational beliefs, you get closer to the next step: insanity.

Islam needs reform big time. It needs people like Zuhdi Jasser, Maajid Nawaz and Irshad Manji to usher a hate-free interpretation of Islam into the mainstream. Political Islam is cancer. The world would be a better off without it.

For people who are confused about the conflicting quotes in the Qur'an, the one thing that should clarify this matter is to understand Mohammed's career when he tried to introduce his religion. His career is divided into two parts (according to the strategy he adopted to win converts): his Meccan years and his Medinan years. The Meccan years saw a peaceful Mohammed who used the non-violent method of preaching to win converts. This strategy only got him 70 converts after 12 years. The Medinan years saw warrior-political leader in Mohammed. This time he used military and political methods and fought and conducted numerous battles and raids. And the strategy was a smashing success. So when you read a peaceful Qur'anic verse, that's from the Meccan years. If you read a bloodthirsty verse, that's from the Medinan years.

So which verse should prevail if there's a conflict? The bad news is that Islamic scholars introduced the rule of abrogation which states simply that the latter verse always supersedes the former. So Islam a religion of peace or a religion of never-ending wars? The answer is yes.
