Minimum monthly pension = 1,200
SSS current members = 31M
Number of Pensioners = 2.1M

SSS Annual Income = 31,000,000 X 120 X 12 = 44.6 Billion
SSS Annual Payout = 2,100,000 X 1,200 X 12 = 30.2 Billion

At the minimum, SSS gains around 14 Billion/Year.

And now let's add 2k increase to the equation,

Minimum monthly pension = 3,200
SSS current members = 31M
Number of Pensioners = 2.1M

SSS Annual Income = 31,000,000 X 120 X 12 = 44.6 Billion
SSS Annual Payout = 2,100,000 X 3,200 X 12 = 80.6 Billion

At the minimum, SSS deficits around 35 Billion/Year. I don't know how much reserve ang naa sa SSS but can you sustain a yearly deficit of 35B? In the long run maybe 11 years ma bankrupt jud ang SSS.
