Humans have been dealing with HIV for 30+ years now. It's not as scary as it was in the 80s and 90s. HIV does not necessarily becomed AIDS. The disease is still uncurable, the virus is unkillable, but the it is very much controllable.
You get a lot of statistics on the increase of HIV infections but you don't get that much news about people dying of AIDS.
I'd rather worry about heart diseases, cancer and diabetes.
