CEBU CITY – It wasn’t exactly the rousing Sinulog welcome expected by Vice President Jejomar Binay.
Close to 10,000 people inside the Cebu City Sports Center booed Binay on Sunday after he was introduced by suspended Mayor Mike Rama during the formal opening of the Sinulog Grand Parade past 9 a.m.
The boos grew louder when Binay stood to give a speech.
Apparently, the jeering prompted the Vice President to cut short his speech.
“Maayong buntag sa inyong tanan (Good morning everyone). Viva Pit Senyor!” was all he said.

di raman siya ang gi boohan siguro sa mga tao.. pero siya ra lagi gibalita? hahaha
a few years ago katong didto ko, naa man puy mga artista nga boohan ang mga tao sa grandstand
basi publicity stunt na pud ni para maka gain siyag supporters through compassion kay gi boohanxD
there's no such thing as bad publicity raba daw..
pero mejo luoy pud xa no? pa palaw man siya.. hehehe
