im in the same situation with you back then...and maybe even up to now i am still in denial that my dad passed away...
im in denial kay murag sa akong huna-huna, wala gyud siya ma-enjoy sa iyang life...
working sukad pag-bata hangtod na-stroke...mga bakasyon niya kay tag-1-3 months lang, trabaho dayon...
when i go to his grave, murag di ko kahilak kaayo...mas maka-hilak kog maayo when i remember him and me on any situation...i still do...i'm still holding the "thank you" letters from my mom to be given to my co-workers and have no idea why...

When my father passed away 8 years ago, I saw it as a peaceful passing. He died on his sleep (bedridden naman siya due to stroke).

Although he had 5 strokes prior to his last, it was his 3rd stroke that made me cry because it was that time his verbal communication deteriorated and his physical movements were limited... I foresaw he is indeed dying. But the 5th stroke made me prepare that it would be his last.

Anyway, I hold no grief over his passing. I know he is at peace right now.
