Its about time the Philippine Govt should consider Nuclear energy. It's long way overdue. to me the reward does outweigh the risk.

Nuclear power is a good energy source... If procedures and safe operation is maintained, it will solve our energy crisis.


However, the Philippine government is not yet mature and responsible to handle it.

there's a difference between mature and resposible AND greed and power...if you catch my drift...

nuclear has pros and cons... its not that easy to say its the solution, coz the implications of operating one is also very dangerous... there are other ways to generate renewable energy...

As you know Nuclear Energy source is efficient as it cant be affected by ups and downs of oil prices, we also know that nuclear energy is not really a renewable source of energy as it relies on uranium, and in time it does not naturally renew itself, hence leads us to nuclear waste. This is a major blunder of having such source of energy. Unlike wind or sunlight, where it is a naturally renewable energy, we could look up to turbine powered energy source or solar panels source of energy in the near future. Wind turbines are good in most areas in the Philippines as we are an archipelago and wind is no strangers to us. The Philippines also has only 2 seasons, namely rainy and sunny seasons, that being said, solar panel source of energy is a brilliant idea. What we or the govt for the matter could do is to have sufficient budget for this projects and invest in a long term solution for our ever energy crisis. We already have started on Wind Turbine source of energy at Ilocos, why not spearhead another project on any "windy" spots in the Philippines.

So before ta mag butang ug ato-a nga nuclear power plant ato sa tanawn balik ang history sa Chernobyl ug Fukushima.
