For fans of the books and newbies alike, its a good film. Supposedly for kids but it can be quite a bit scary at some parts, juz like the books. Not a blockbuster hit hit but a nice film nonetheless that the family can enjoy. I watched it with my baby daughter and it scared the sh*t out of her specially Slappy the doll, hell, he was frickin me out too. The movie also stayed faithful with the books and interconnected with it, something you dont see much in Hollywood.
