In my case it was my decision to return because I find life more exciting here and I am the type of person who gets bored easily. Abroad you can't go out with your friends friday nights for a drinking spree, it's all work, work and work. Though I haven't regretted my decision, I feel somewhat sad seeing lots of college students because I know that when they finish school they'll have a very hard time finding work. There was one time I was able to converse with an elderly couple at the airport. They were US based, the husband is working at Boeing. They told me that in the 70's it wasn't hard to apply and get a US visa unlike today so it could be that most people before who apply for visa won't go TNT unlike today. Why? Because they see the hopelessness in this country, if you want to live decently, own a house and raise a family and send your children to good schools is next to impossible unless you were born to a rich family.
