I said he could have said it in a different way without sounding "whiny". I'm giving him chance because I think he might've or could've said it in a positive note. Of course, I have the freedom to listen to the good news and his every good news (whether they're true or not) there's always the "whiny" part which I hate. So what do I do?

"Dark minion" <- Is this necessary? I don't do labelling because it's not healthy, it only shows how uncivilised a person is. It's analogous to whiny in my vocabulary.

In my case it was my decision to return because I find life more exciting here and I am the type of person who gets bored easily. Abroad you can't go out with your friends friday nights for a drinking spree, it's all work, work and work. Though I haven't regretted my decision, I feel somewhat sad seeing lots of college students because I know that when they finish school they'll have a very hard time finding work. There was one time I was able to converse with an elderly couple at the airport. They were US based, the husband is working at Boeing. They told me that in the 70's it wasn't hard to apply and get a US visa unlike today so it could be that most people before who apply for visa won't go TNT unlike today. Why? Because they see the hopelessness in this country, if you want to live decently, own a house and raise a family and send your children to good schools is next to impossible unless you were born to a rich family.

Daku paminawon pero ug kuhaan panag expenses house rental 15K (kung wa kay balay imoha), PUB 3K, Food for 3 ba ron with your wife and 1 kid (12K), mag net nalang kag 9K per month ana, wa pay labot transportation nimu ug sa imo anak nga ga school. That's coming from one who's earning that much pero unsaon nalang kung ordinary employee ra ka who's earning 15K or less?

Those are big malls projects which I'm afraid cannot be sustained in the long run kay ang income sa Cebu population gamay ra, remember pa ka sa ice skating rink sa SM City? Di ba nawala, mao ra unta toy ice skating outside Manila. Basin mao ra pod nya nay mahitabo nya. Plus cebuanos are known to be wise spenders, di pataka ug gasto except sa things nga need nila unlike Manilans nga big spender, can you imaging UAAP final games here that cost 25K or concert tickets of foreign artist which cost at 15K mahurot pag kahalin? Can't imagine cebuanos spending that much for those types of events.

Di na maoy basis sa unsa ka maau na ang situation sa atoang nasud kay kana nga mga crowd belongs to the AB group which is just around 5 to 10% of our population. Atoa kuhaan ug basis kaning CDE or the everyday man, kanang atoa ra maka rub elbows sa jeep or masugatan nato sa streets. Ikaw basin naa ka sa AB class kay negosyante man kaha ka mao nang wa ka kakita sa situation, mao nga kung naa kay time pag try ug istorya ug mga tao nga naa ra sa ubos nga han-ay sa katilingban which by the way composed the majority of our population.

Tinuod daghan kuartahan diri bro pero mas daghan walay kuarta pod. Ang nakaau lang sa mga pinoy kay maau mo agwanta ug sitwasyon bisan nagka gidlay na smile lang gihapon pero I'm 100% sure nga bisan kinsa nga pinoy nga tagaan ug chance nga makakuha ug foreign visa like sa US ba ron, walay dili mo grab ana bisan pag kanang ga rally2x kontra US sa kalsada.
