Need Help: Machine boots in BIOS setup displaying black and white dot-like patterns

My old PC runs into problem. I bought this 8 years ago. Lately, when I turn on the machine, it boots in BIOS setup displaying black and white dot-like patterns and does not proceed to the Windows. Is it possible that some of the parts (e.g. mobo, proc, memory) are now defective? I indicate the machine specs below for your reference.


Proc: Intel Dual Core
Mobo: Wolfdale 1333-D667
Memory: 2GB DDR2 667 DIMM
