as the rain falls gently from the sky
my heart is beating and i don't know why
maybe i was just worried about you
if the rain touches on you too

i wish i could be an umbrella you can hide on
or be your shelter when there is a typhoon
coz i'll protect you from them all
until the last raindrop will fall

I wanted to start a thread for those who wants to express thyself through poems or letters.

There is "Poetry anyone" under arts & literature but its for poetry in general.

The feelings I harbor for 2 years
You judged me with a single glance
You didn't give me a single chance

Throw all those letters away
I didn't have a little space in your heart
I didn't have a chance to show you how I love

But I'll still be right here

Or the sun no longer shines

garbo gikalimtan unta ikaw manumbalik
apan ikaw padayon sa imong pagkabagsik

tanan nabuhat kona unta ikaw mohatag
kanako sa higayon ikaw maawhag
gamayng oras kita unta makatubag
sa pangutana nga ako dili makatubag

Puwes, mangita kog paagi aron maako ka gihapon

kung sa akong kiliran, wala ka diha?
unsaon ko man ang kagabhion
kung unlan ra ang akong pagagakson?
unsaon ko man kining mga mata
kung sa damgo lamang adunay kita?
unsaon ko man ang paglahutay
kung sa adlaw2x ako ginapatay?
unsaon ko man ang pulong nga "kalipay"
kung aduna nay laing nilalang
nga kanimo naga-agbay?

daw mura ako ug ginabudhian
sa gugmang daw susamag bulan
nga sa matag kagabhion akong maaninag
nagahatag ug kahayag, oh pagkaanyag
apan daw sa dihang ako na kining pagakab-uton
akoang naamgo nga dili ko diay kini maangkon
ug diha2x nahugno ang akong grabeng pagdahom
apan ang mga luha lamang ang nagahupay
sa kasing2x kong nakupog na sa dayon

every morning when i wake up
as the sun shines above
i put a smile in my face
as i remember your sweet embrace

i think of you throughout the day
wishing beside you i may stay
but just to hear your voice
always makes my heart rejoice

i thank God i found you
who guided me in everything i do
you enlightened my mind
and treated me so kind

so i ask the gentle wind
love and care to you i send
to whisper in your heart
that i love you from the start

i keep hoping and praying
someday will be a new beginning
and nothing else will matter
just you and me forever and ever...

rain can never save me
from the tears i’ve been crying
thunderstorms can never muffle my screams
from the nightmares i’ve been having
if walls could talk
it would speak of heartaches and miseries
if looks could kill
it would stab you so deep with no mercy
i can never change the past
and so do you
you can never take back the words even the lies
and so stop pretending
stop acting as if you care
as if i matter
coz i never did
and never will be…
