the main purpose of public transportation is clear : provide transportation to the public, not provide livelihood for the jeepney driver. the better service will always thrive, the lesser service will eventually give way. if the drivers cannot compete, they cannot thrive. this is the harsh reality of an open market.

i say down with the jeepney, long live the new bus system.

imagine if our bus system will equal that of japan, or even just a fraction of the efficiency. imagine the increase in productivity. imagine those having cars preferring to ride the bus instead. that is the mark of a truly progressive nation : not where the poor have cars, but where the rich use public transport.

Kung magsige lang ta give way sa mga mu protesta, abtan nalang ta ug 100 years, mag jeep gihapon ta! Unsa man diay ning LTFRB, dli diay ni sila pag pritect and uphold sa safety sa riding public? Huna hunaon unta nila nga mas daghan ang commuters kysa drivers.

Sakto gyud na nga kung naa man makulban ug kaldero, naa ra gyud gihapon way nga makakita sila ug laing trabaho.

Sala ra man pod ni sa atong gobyerno ky instead i-control, nagpatuyang nalang ug hatag ug franchise...even trisikad nanaghan na ug maayo ky para lang magamit sa pamulitika.
