Kanus-a pa kaha ni.. it really sucks when you have to pay globe 1,100 for a 2 mbps connection.. When they can offer 50 mbps for double the price. Globes offering sucks bigtime really. Same goes for PLDC too.

Pero naunhan jud ta ug putol sa SMART LTE wa pa gani kaabot ang TELSTRA....
another player is always welcome but don't get your hopes too high...
This excitement over Telstra might end up as a huge disappointment | YugaTech | Philippines News & Tech Reviews
Wa jud naku dawata ang telepad sa pldt dinaogan kuno to but e extend 3 years ang contract, pirting hinaya jud sa net naa pay video mag ungot2x sa ka lag
guys, watchout for BellTel, it will compete head on with smart & globe. kurug ang smart (& pldt as the parent company) ug globe ana niya.
Those people who are in the telecom industry are already contemplating to jump-ship. Other telecom top brass are already there. BelTell is a huge project. as far as i know, when a project planned to roll-out 100+ carrier grade multi-sevice routers, that's huge.
Just heard it from the grapevine though...

kung tinuod man, as the article i shared, makakita na unta tag daghan kinalutay or projects gi pang buhat sa atong mga area ron...
huge project indeed, so ma notice gyud na, maybe not by us directly but by tech experts and regulators...
again, any new telco entity nga mo sulod sa Pinas, either mo palit silag existing na or mag buhat gyud sila from ground up... kung from ground up na, expect at least 5 years before it comes to fruition...
PLDT has been laying telco backbone since the 80's, Globe for the past 10 or 15 years... a new player will also take time to lay its own backbone... especially in this god forsaken country where government regulators won't take actions if they are not getting a cut on their projects...
just sayin...
sure na gyud ni?
^daghan pa kaayo kuwang imong posts para ka-post ka buy and sell...
BellTel's application is for 2016, so obviously it's only talks and papers for now. regarding the infra roll-out, san miguel had major/minor acquisitions of local telcos like Liberty telecom and ETPI which are co-owners of telecphil, that's spells the difference while Telstra has the internet gateway facilities. let's just be in a wait and see mode for now.
what i'm excited for this is that it delivers more job opportunities in our country, for Cebu as well because Telstra outsource office is in ITPark.
