Hmmm? Unsay you would go for God rather than Government?

Do you mean that you would go for a CHURCH wedding rather than the CIVIL one... Malahi man gud ang meaning ug layo ra pud kaayo sila kung imong i-replace ang CHURCH with GOD and CIVIL with GOVERNMENT...

it really depends on how you would choose coz both are applicable man...

pwede man ka maka-civil for the mean time kung wala jud kwarta nya mag church lang mo kung naa namo budget... the answer is just being practical...

so basically, what your trying to say is.. since we are poor... we have to go first for civil and then wait for the time to afford the Church wedding?.. what if we really don't have money... and we really can't afford Church wedding... what happens next... i guess.. theres a possibility that our relationship wouldn't work.. since we really didn't confess our promise on the Church...

I'd rather wait for me to afford the Church wedding..

you qoute "what if we really don't have money... and we really can't afford Church wedding... what happens next... i guess.. theres a possibility that our relationship wouldn't work.."

-basically, it really depend on how your relationship works...
the wedding, civil or church is just a sealant on how your relationship goes... and it is your (both) choice on what will be your wedding be...
the right question for that is, "what happen next after the wedding?"

remember church authority (whatever church) would most likely not accept secret marriages..
