ridgebacks are hunting dogs which are developed in africa,to hunt lions.nywy,aside from hunting you can enjoy agility,obedience,conformation showing,among others.and since it is a sight hound,the 'official' competition most suited to this breed is lurecoursing (a competion for sight hounds with which,an 'artificial' lure is being chased by the dogs in a track towards the finish line & in a series of laps).
the energy/activity level of a ridgeback is moderate it is not as intense as the malinois,working line gsd & the likes.but it is also capable of guard work & being versatile.

naa pay active breeders sa rhodesian dri cebu? i read they make good running companions because of their energy and endurance. i think GSD and siberian huskies are good runners too but not good for running long distance in our climate. init ra kaau diri sa pinas.

Malinois are fine as long as you hydrate them well. If you are looking for a jogging partner that is tolerant to heat, better get an Australian Cattle Dog. They tolerate heat very well and they are as high strung as the Malinois.
