Although I don’t dispute that we can be open to and accept criticisms especially on those that have some basis that doesn’t mean that we’ll just keep quiet even if something said or done against us needs to be corrected.
Another sad angle on this issue is the reaction of some Filipinos who are obviously confuse with what is sweeping generalization to a specific and clear criticisms of valid facts. Unless explained we’ll never know what the basis of that offensive DH scene was.

you are right! in fact everybody is right but we live in the a democratic society. even americans make fun of their president all the time. in this case, the principle is the same but of greater magnitude lang.
sometimes diri mo sulod ang pagka double-standard natong mga pinoy. in short, maayo lang kung kita. i mean come on, the philippines is known as a diploma mill worldwide mao bitaw according to statistics bisan daghan ta ug college graduates pero dili qualified. nakasuway pa lang mo ug hiring ay, mag lingo-lingo gyud inyong ulo nganong daghan college graduates na bogo, simple math/IQ exam or simple sentence construction di kahibaw.
the truth hurts and hurts deeply in this side of the world.
