Kung Altis pd aw mas maayo hehe pwerte ka daghan ug parts. I dont usually recommend subcompacts like vios and city kay ligas ra ug 1km/L as per claims sa mga naay vios ug city regarding AT. Altis gyud for peace of mind and comfort ug back seat legroom. Wala na koy experiece sa FD and FB chassis kay di nako fan ana bati kaayo ug nawng gyud no offense to owners hehe
Kung mada ang Camry and Accord (specially kadtong 2.0 lang dili V6) kay barato kaayo ni ug price tag sa 2nd hand market as in pareha ra ug presyo sa altis and vios, mao ni pinaka sulit sa tanan. Ayaw kabalaka sa spare parts naay daghan suprplus pd ani mas mahal lang gamay pero sulit na sulit gyud kaayo ni.

daghan salamat mam. maau unta makakita pod ta mekaniko nga maka tan aw sa unit kay naa ra ba to gipamaligya nga altis. ganahan ko sa altis & civic kay di sum-ol ug nawong. bahala na semi vintage.

daghan lage kaaug hater ang MT ari? ako kada adlaw ko mag gamit sako car MT from lapu-lapu to talamban traffic kaau na ako in og out sa school hap... nagkatapulan na laging mga tao ron? hahahaha... pamaul buh? wa ghud ko ka try gpamaulan ko ga drive bsag traffic d basin mo kahibaw mo gamit ug handbrake? hahaha... maintenance ? AT kay makabulsa ghud kay if guba tiningub ghud ang pag repair compare to MT.. i have a relative na mechanic if you dont want to spend fortune to maintenance pick MT.. if you're lazy pick AT (also extra money for the repairs/services compare to MT) ...

I prefer to choose the gears I want than let the car do it.
If you know how to find the sweet spot in terms of gear usage, in terms of acceleration and passing ability, layo ra ang AT.
Samot na fuel economy, layo ra giyud.
Dili na lang ko mo-mention sa gasto kung maguba imo AT. Been there done that.
However, it should not be a problem if your car is brand new.

If a first time driver.. para nako nuh.. mas maau jud ang AT
for season and experience na sa driving.. I guess you can switch either manual or auto... sa mga first time driver man gd.. usually.. clutch driving jud na sila... they tend to press the clutch all the time....
mas dali maguba and masunog ang clutch lining esp sa mga first time drivers kay naa pa sila sa kulba stage... clutch lining replacement entails deep pocket costs....

burned clutch, it's either overrevving while on clutch or always stepping on the clutch while it's already moving fast..(bec some clutch are soft)
