This way too good to be true. Free Wifi? and the speed?
Why dont they just focus on slapping those big TelCos so they'll wake up and give us the internet speed that we deserve?
We pay high amounts for the lousy services.

Useless ang free wifi kay ang backbone nato PLDC gihapon. Duwa-an rana sa mga dagkong telcos ang free wifi na kana.
Why don't do focus on other infrastructure projects than this worthless Wifi.

kung naa kas pinas, di unta ka mahibong...nya tan-awa ang speed oh...

Each free public Wi-Fi zone will have an average of 256 kbps -- the lowest prevailing speed requirement for ''broadband'' service, according to the DOST-ICTO.

We started with 56k modem and we survived. Gitagaan ko ug gift unya mo reklamo pako mura para nako baga nasad kaayo ko ug nawng.

Internet is an evolving technology. I don't think it will stick to 256 forever. We have to start somewhere. This is a bold move sa DOST. Who would have thought a 3rd world country with Free public wifi.

A year ago I was rooting for information flowing freely in every corner in the Philippines aron tanan tawo or at least ang uban ma well-informed sa panghitabo ug problema sa atong nasod. Guess I got what I wished for.
