PLDT Fibr Questions

Hello istoryans!
If ever i broke a rule diri nga section please move/delete/lock my thread.

I have a couple of questions regarding PLDT

• After nimo ma pass ang imong application form how many days para mataod nila ang internet sa inyoha?
• Regarding about Fiber Optic areas. Since, naka dungog kog storya sa among neighbor nga fiber optic daw among area. Mangutana lng ko para ma confirm pod nako kay nakabasa ko uban feedback sa consumers sa mga forums nga pag apply daw nila ni ingon nga fiber optic daw ilang lugar pero pag taod kay dili diay? So, akong pangutana unsay ilhanan kung Fiber-optic inyohang area?
• Regarding sa gaming/streaming/downloading ok raba ang PLDT?
• Naa bay difference sa fiber-optic og none fiber-optic nga line sa PLDT?

it depends how pesky you are ^_^, the more peskier you are, the sooner you get the service
joke..., it really depends on their so called 'system' but most pldt installation gets wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy longer than usual

in all honesty..., I really don't care about it being FibR, cable, dsl, broadband, sattellite, dial-up etc...
all I care for the 'connection' for it to be constant!, but mostly its constant alright..., constantly disconnects..., constantly slow

physically yes, but its speed as fiber in theory is faster than our current tech... but I really don't mind/care about marketing BS...

Mga sir naa koy bag.ong pangutana.

Since naka apply naman ko pag Monday. Karon adlawa naka dawat ko og text sa PLDT nga "You may now pay your initial fees at any PLDT office within 5days. Please note that we can only reserve the facilities for you within the specified period. Installation will be done in 10 days from payment."
Kailangan ba ko mo bayad ani para ma install akong PLDT internet/landline or dili huwat lng ba ko sa Official bill nako? Abi nakog walay cashout kung magpataod ka adto ra sa monthly bill nimo?

In my opinion DSL or fiber.. same rana.... for dsl... copper wire from data cabinet whereas fibr, fiber ila gamit. advantages of fiber over copper?

fiber is not affected by corrosion which is a problem to copper joints.

You need to pay it. They wont install your line unless youve settled that account.

unya kung ma swertehan kag way klaro nga tech nga nag initial survey, pag actual connection makita nga wah na diay available slot, cancelled installation and refund to the nearest PLDT office...

yup, it sucks... happened to me... hope it will not happen to you...
