The scientists and engineers have developed new equations that show how a high-energy electron beam combined with an intense laser pulse could rip apart a vacuum into its fundamental matter and antimatter components, and set off a cascade of events that generates additional pairs of particles and antiparticles.

"We can now calculate how, from a single electron, several hundred particles can be produced. We believe this happens in nature near pulsars and neutron stars," said Igor Sokolov, an engineering research scientist who conducted this research along with associate research scientist John Nees, emeritus electrical engineering professor Gerard Mourou and their colleagues in France.

At the heart of this work is the idea that a vacuum is not exactly nothing.

"It is better to say, following theoretical physicist Paul Dirac, that a vacuum, or nothing, is the combination of matter and antimatter -- particles and antiparticles. Their density is tremendous, but we cannot perceive any of them because their observable effects entirely cancel each other out," Sokolov said.

Matter and antimatter destroy each other when they come into contact under normal conditions.

We can only partially comprehend the notion of God's existence. And, "Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting." (Psalm 93:2). Quite simply, God has no beginning and no end. So, where did God come from? He didn't. He always was.

To us, the notion of time is linear. One second follows the next; one minute is after another. We get older, not younger, and we cannot repeat the minutes that have passed us by. We have all seen the time lines on charts: early time is on the left and later time is on the right. We see nations, people's lives, and plans mapped out on straight lines from left to right. We see a beginning and an end. But God is "beyond the chart." He has no beginning or end. He simply has always been.

Also, physics has shown that time is a property that is the result of the existence of matter. Time exists when matter exists. Time has even been called the fourth dimension. But God is not matter. In fact, God created matter. He created the universe. So, time began when God created the universe. Before that, God was simply existing; and time had no meaning (except conceptually), no relation to Him. Therefore, to ask where God came from is to ask a question that cannot really be applied to God in the first place. Because time has no meaning with God in relation to who He is, eternity is also not something that can be absolutely related to God. God is even beyond eternity.

Eternity is a term that we finite creatures use to express the concept of something that has no end--and/or no beginning. God has no beginning or end . . . He is outside the realm of time.

This is why theres a lot of Atheist nowadays..

I am wondering what would our world be if we debate the book of science instead of bible. We might have discovered teleportation, invisibility, immortality, etc.

A religion's view converge at ONE POINT- salvation.
A science's view spreads in all direction - discoveries.

Religion tends to partner with suffering hence a 3rd world-country is more prone to "bahala na ang Ginoo sa akoa". Check ninyo kinsa ng mga 3rd world country d ba common kaayo nga reliyoso kaayo na sila.

Pero ari kag developed country, sideline rana ang religion. Kay wala man ka mag suffer so wala kay paki sa mga religion.
