reminder that Andres Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo - starring Robin Padilla and DANIEL PADILLA - flopped in the local box office. if it's not a romantic movie with your kilig love team number 12363894623947304537949562387451325128362938753046 73466612873912362938472057203947293486102340528342 37541851, or a comedy with Bossing, Vice Ganda or Ai Ai, it's going to flop. so, maybe movie studios/directors should put those kilig love teams in future historical movies next time? lmao
that said, Heneral Luna is being screened today sa SM. dunno sa Ayala and other cinemas.
i usually dont watch tagalog movie especially alone -word of mouth got me watching this movie earlier today And it didnt disappoint!! above-average pinoy mainstream movie cinematography, convincing gore-factor and a great refresh to our Philippine history...in the end of the movie, i felt a bit of annoyance maybe anger because im reminded that out country is still under the control of the oligarchs. perhaps the movie was too dark than the usual pinoy movie.
Well-written, artistically made.
Love the humor as well.
The ending was a painful sight to watch though.
Graveh ko nakahilak.
Now I understand why we can never attain freedom and peace.
The film was an eye-opener for all of us, Filipinos.
