you are obviously narrating from old testament, and as what I've told you, you cannot just quote from the old testament and then disregards the new. God is both a loving and at the same time He is Severe. God is the creator, a loving and forgiving one and that is only part of the big picture. He also acks judgement to those who oppose him and to those who are wicked. You also need to consider that God prefer repentance rather than judgement, that's why i always emphasize to you about him being forgiving and merciful. Take a new testament, it clearly states on prohibition on killing. It emphasizes on turning your other cheek if one hits you with the other or love your enemies. you see, when you consider God's nature then you will understand.

Old or new, it's the same god or maybe your god experienced some kind of epiphany and realized the error of his ways... lol that would be funny..

to answer your question on loved ones going to hell and me on heaven. I or we just don't know for sure... i dont pretend or assume to know all. Interpretation to this is subjective to one's belief.

Heaven would always be good no matter what, even if the case is like that. How are we to judge and be selfish to condemn heaven just because people we love go to hell?

in the first place if you are a believer, you will do everything to keep the word and follow what the Lord teach us. You know the consequence and outcome.. so as a Christian kahibaw naka unsa imo angay buhaton.

But to address your question personally, as I said I do not know for sure. But one thing for sure, heaven can never be condemn for such case.

Let me ask you also with this one, and let us keep this in the content of Christianity pls.

How would you feel if there is really heaven and you yourself don't believe God. Would you regret it if most people you know is in heaven and you are rotting in hell? Will it come to a point in your mind to think, believing in God or a supreme being wont hurt rather than risking not having Him in your life and going to hell?
