kung mahitab0 na do...nind0t kaay0...hehehe. latag sila ug fiber optic backbone sa mga major key regions/cities dire pinas then eh buff maay0 ang internet exchange with domestic peering enabled to all local telco and other small players. Plus direct connect sa currently existing Asia-Pacific internet backbone (Undersea Fiber optic links) ka Pacnet...mao niy mka-impr0ve status sa internet connectivity dire...hehhe.

pero syempre dili sad na basta2 nga investment it costs Billions...hahaha. and when you are in a business you should of course examine if profitable bah, otherwise your going down like titanic.

Telstra has billions of disposable investment money for that with experience to boot. Initially I was thinking about wireless services since deploying cell phone towers is least costly compared to fiber optics but when I read about acquiring pacnet I thought that SH!T MIGHT GET SERIOUS.

well, lets hope on that...hehehe. A nationwide infrastructure of cellular towers/sites would not help in improving the condition/status of internet connectivity in the country. But a reliable and well designed country level fiber optic backbone could.

pang wireless arm lng jud na sa supposed 3rd telco provider if it intends to compete with currently existing mobile as well as fixed wireless services currently catered/provided by Smart/Sun and Globe.

i hope dili lng sila m0-focus sa wireless kundi sa fixed lines pud, like offering competitively priced fiber internet connection both for residential as well as commercial/business class.

hmmm...asa ka nka-kuhag inf0 regarding sa status of their infrastructure development? 700Mhz band sa 4G? murag mga hi-end smartphones ra man sad kasagaran wide ug supported bands like ip6, s6, etc.

That's why they need to partner with a local corporation that is majority owned/controlled by Filipinos.
