First, logic is NOT applicable to Religion. Where is the logic when someone walks in water? Where is the logic of turning water into wine? Where is the logic aning "ginoo ra bahala nako unya mag expect nga naay grasya maabot".

why incest is Sin? It has been proven today that it will cause genetic abmormalities.
God is proven scientifically right in todays science in declaring this law.
There must be a time in human history when this was permitted bacause human's dna and genes are not corrupted.
during this time humans lived upto 700 years clearly our genes are not yet corrupted. If God would have allowed it there would be a good reason, its beacuse of the survival of the human population. Imagine if there just 15 people in the whole world how would you and i exist if they did not intermarry, humanity will be extinct due to no reproduction.
In those days clearly intermarrying doesn't produce genetic defects if so we would all have genetic defects.
What needs to be emphasized here is the distinction of timeline when human genes was least corrupted(closest to the creation of Adam and eve) to the point where it is severly corrupted by sin and rebellion to God (farthest from the original creation of Adam and Eve and constant influence of satan) that God who created us who knows us even when were not born yet who knows our every hair everything about us that because human is so corrupted by sin and cannot intermarry that God our creator strictly prohibts intermarrying (Leviticus 18:6-18 ).

There is also other theories about naphilim or fallen angels intermarrying humans that produced further corruption of the human genes.

Answer:
The God of the old Testament in the days of Adam up to the days of Moses allowed man to marry his sister, aunt, etc.
***So technically dli pa sin or bastos ang mu mnyu sa ila close relative at that tym because it was lawful and the term incest kay wala pa namugna.***



But during the time of Moses, God changed the law and prohibited people to marry their close relatives (Leviticus 20). And at this time, kung kinsa man ang musuway ani na law kay sinner na siya and matawag na og incest and bastos ang mulapas ato na balaod.
