What happened last night was an expression of the members of the Iglesia nI Cristo of their right to rally. It may have caused traffic and irritated some of the commuters but its their right, and that we have to respect. For it is NOT only them that exercise this freedom of religion, it is all of us. Traffic happened when The Pope came, traffic happens during fiesta and traffic happened when the nuns and priest walked in Edsa to defend their beliefs. We have to respect the right of a sect, religion or individual - may they be Catholic, Islam, Protestant, Iglesia or someone who exercise a personal religion... to express their freedom.

Thus, as an ordinary and educated citizen, lets have that mutual respect. In a way that we want ours to be respected. For "...You can't choose which freedom you want to defend. You must defend all of it or be against all of it."

True but the Pope's visit was scheduled, and was even declared a holiday so everything was planned to make it more manageable. This one is different. I even heard that they have unlimited days to rally and they are rallying in front of DOJ, therefore delaying some cases which are scheduled for arraignments as if court delays are not enough.

Do you even UNDERSTAND unsa na ila gi rallyhan? This is not about "RIGHT TO RALLY". Tanan butang naay Due Process. They didn't want the DOJ to investigate a complaint, so ga rally sila. This is more like a RIOT than a Rally.
