personally... yes, naa koy kaila nga nakadaug ug jackpot.

dili sa pag unsa, ana sya nako... same same ra man ghapon ang buhay. pero less than 30M ra man pud to gud. dili kaayo dako. makuha ra nimo kung swerte ka sa panarbaho.

sakto gyud tong giingon about financial literacy. pero para nako, there is a lot more to this than that. dili lalim. a lot of money attracts a lot more unpredictables.

Suicide. In June of 1997, a man named Billie Bob Harrell Jr. took the $31 million Texas Lottery jackpot. At first, all was great: "Harrell purchased a ranch. He bought a half-dozen homes for himself and other family members. He, his wife and all the kids got new automobiles. He made large contributions to his church. If members of the congregation needed help, Billie Bob was there with cash," writes Steve McVicker in The Houston Press. "Then suddenly Harrell discovered that his life was unraveling almost as quickly as it had come together ... everyone, it seemed—family, friends, fellow worshipers and strangers—was putting the touch on him. His spending and his lending spiraled out of control. In February those tensions splintered his already strained marriage." And tragically, 20 months after winning the lottery, Harrell committed suicide.

REDWOOD CITY, California – What a change of fortune for a Virginia Pinoy who says he now regrets winning the lottery because it led to the end of his marriage and the two-year jail sentence he is currently serving.
Romeo Silerio got lucky 22 years ago when he won $6.9 million in the Virginia state lottery.
But in a story by The Virginian Pilot, the former warehouse worker’s luck reportedly ran out following a divorce from his wife that split up the winnings and set spousal and child support for their three kids.
In August, Silerio entered two pleas of no contest for failing to pay his ex-wife more than $250,000 in child and spousal support.
His scheduled release date is August 2016.
Silerio doesn’t know what he will do after that because now he is dead broke.
