Haven't seen the film so I cant say if its bad or good.
According to Kotaku though, The movie deviates too much from the source material.
This is a quote from their review , it says "The First Attack on Titan Movie Stinks".
Not a good sign. SMH

Wala. They introduced new characters, they changed the name of some characters. Eren's parents are non existent in this timeline. BF/GF na si Mikasa og Eren ani nga movie. And the new character is somewhat a rip off from Levi's character in the manga. And they're all asian when Mikasa was the only asian left in the manga. Confusing ang start kai the movie will lead you nga ang protagonist sa movie kai si ARMIN. BATI!!
