APC UPS Issue

Model: APC ES 500 Back-UPS. 500VA 300w

Attached: CPU and 22" LED monitor only..and using this for more than 2years.

Pero gahapon nikalit lng ug tingog (Long Beep, non-stop) then ni-off ako CPU ug kalit.
*Pero naulian ra after nko gi-press ang circuit breaker button.

Karon, cge lng ug ON ang UPS. I mean "Solid" color green lng.
* Bisan ug ako i-press pra mo-OFF/ON dili mohatag ug kuryente pra sa ako CPU ug monitor unya dili pa gyud ma OFF ang green light bisan gitang2 na sa outlet.
*(naay something buzzing sound ako madungog sa sulod.. pero dili cya beep..)

Questions:
1. Guba na battery ani?

2. If in-case dead na ang battery ani, dili na diay magamit ang UPS?
* Sauna mn gud naa pud ko UPS nga dili na gyud mogana ang battery pero OK rman gihapon gmiton. Maka supply pman gihapon.

3. Unsa to non-stop long beep nga nitingog? Wala mn sa ilahang troubleshooting manual ang non-stop beep gud.

4. Pila price range sa NEW battery ani?

ah ok.. pero if ilisanan na ug battery, normal ni nga dili na magamit UPS? Bisan ako pa isak2 dili gyud mo-on ako CPU ug monitor.
I thought for power outages or fluctuation lng ang gamit sa battery..

depende sa design. but sounds like more than just battery issue. have it checked by "trusted" technican

1. Continuous beep means it's overloaded. It's overloading because of weak battery.
2. It won't power-on your computer because it can't protect it anymore. (Smart UPS)
3. Once you get a new battery, you should plug-in a USB cable from the UPS to the computer and install the management software so you can monitor the condition of your UPS, setup automatic save and shutdown, among other features.

You can probably use a generic brand but make sure it has the same dimensions, voltage, and amperage.

ilisanan ra na ug battery boss, pwede ra ka ikaw mag ilis sa battery or imo na pailisan sa clixlogic, 950 ilang battery sila na sad taod.

Try to do the steps below:


1: Disconnect any attached load.


2: Unplug the UPS from the wall socket.


3: Disconnect the UPS' internal battery.


4: Push and hold the ""On"" button on the UPS for 5 seconds


5: Reconnect internal battery.


6: Plug UPS in to known good power source.


7: Turn UPS on.


If all else fails, the UPS needs to be replaced.
