We are saved through grace Ephesians 2:8.. But in Hebrews 12:15 states that we can fall from grace so we must be diligent.
"Heb 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;"
Diligent means to continue, to persevere.. that's why Once saved always saved is a false doctrine.
i think pareha ra ni ani
ang gipoint is murag walay benefit si Jesus sa ilaha kay gicount nila ang circumcision as means of salvation, ila giset aside ang grace and wala man pud gimention nga maimpyerno sila nga nafall from grace..Galatians 5:1-5
English Standard Version (ESV)
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you. I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the whole law. You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness.
about sa Hebrews verse, ato lang iexpound pa
ang gipoint ani is ang living in a carnal and worldly way, murag wala na naenjoy niya ang grace ni God, diha niya na fail ang grace of GodHebrews 12:11-17
English Standard Version (ESV)
11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
12 Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed. 14 Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. 15 See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled; 16 that no one is sexually immoral or unholy like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal. 17 For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no chance to repent, though he sought it with tears.

sealed na sa Holy Spirit ang someone who truly accepts Jesus as his Lord and SaviorEphesians 1:13-14
New International Version (NIV)
And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. New International Version (NIV)
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

For me faith + good deeds are the right combination to have a chance for God Salvation![]()
And conditional security is backed up by these verses:
1. "Matt 24:24 ... if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
-Jesus Christ says that even the very elect could be deceived. So, there is no guaranty for salvation.
2. "Luke 12:45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; 46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers."
-He was the servant of his Lord. But now Jesus Christ says that his lord will appoint him a portion in hell. He was once saved, now he is in hell.
3. "Luke 14:34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour,..."
-Jesus Christ says that salt may lose its savor. Once saved may become lost.
4. "John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned."
-The person was already abiding in the vine. Now, he will be cut off and will be burned.
5. "Romans 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off."
-This is the warning of the Lord Jesus Christ. He has cut off many before. If you don't continue in his goodness, he will cut you off also. Once saved, you have to continue in salvation. Or else you will be cut off.
6. "1 Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy;"
-You are the temple of God. He lives in you. But, if you defile yourself with sin, God will destroy you. It is not once saved always saved.
7. "1 Cor 9:27 . I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."
-If Apostle Paul did not continue to keep his body in obedience, he would have been thrown away. That means salvation is not automatically kept. But we have to keep it.
8. "1 Cor 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall."
-If we stand, be careful so that we may not fall. This caution shows that the position is not guaranteed.
9. "1 Cor 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain."
-"If you keep in memory" is conditional. If they do not keep the memory of the preaching, they lose the position of salvation.
10. "Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace."
-They were in grace and hence they were saved. Now they fell from grace. That is, salvation is lost. They were saved once. But now they are lost.
11. "2 Thess 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,.."
-Few saved people that are saved will be deceived and fall away. So, saved is not always saved.
12. "1 Tim 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil."
-A new person who is saved is more vulnerable to fall into condemnation.
13. "1 Tim 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;"
-The Holy Spirit says clearly that some saved persons will depart from faith and will be lost. They will preach the doctrine of devils.
14. "1 Tim 5:12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith."
-They were saved through faith. Then they cast off their faith and fell into damnation.
15. "1 Tim 5:15 For some are already turned aside after Satan."
-They were with God. But now they are with Satan. Once saved, now lost it for ever.
16. "Heb 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;"
-Partakers with God are departing from God. Sin is deceitful and will separate you from God. Once saved, if not steadfast, will lose it.
17. "Heb 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame."
-Those who once enjoyed the spiritual bliss of salvation may also fall away. They may not be allowed to come back. So, they have lost salvation permanently.
18. "Heb 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him."
-People can draw back from their salvation.
19. "Heb 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God;"
-By grace you are saved. If you are not diligent you may fall from the grace of God, and lose the salvation.
20. "James 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins."
-If a saved person erred from the truth, it makes him a sinner who needs to be saved again. Saved from the error is saving his soul. That is, any time you are in error or in sin you lost your salvation.
21. "2 Peter 2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam."
-They were in the right way and now gone astray. Once saved and now lost with Satan.
22. "2 Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning."
-Those who escaped sin may also fall into sin again.
23. "Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent."
-They had fallen from salvation. Jesus Christ requires them to repent and get back.
24. "Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent."
-They have received and were holding fast, but now have to do it all over again since they lost it.
25. "Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life,.."
-Once, their names were in the book of life. That is, they were saved. But God will blot out their names if they do not overcome. "Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." They will end up in the lake of fire. Once saved, but now lost it.
26. "Rev 3:16 ... because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."
-This church was living in the mouth of God. Now God will throw them out unless they become hot for God.
27. "Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
-God has written their name in the book of life. But, if they reject any of his word, God will take their name out of the book of life. Then, they will be thrown into the lake of fire. That is, these who were once saved are now thrown into the lake of fire.

Sin can separate us from God.
Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
i will pick some lang sa kay daghan kaayo hehe, i will try next time sa uban na lang..
1 - Jesus is talking about the tribulation here, ang mga elect diri is not the church kay raptured na (if you believe in pre-tribulation), ang candidates ani is mga tribulation saints
17 - this is in relation sa parable on four seeds, candidates ani kay ang mga seeds nga naa sa thorns ug stony, they know about the gospel but wala pa nila fully naaccept si Jesus as Lord and Savior mao nga niabot ang trials kay nafall away
Isaiah 59:2 - that is why the death of Jesus reconciled us to God and became a sin for us...
Nka-kita bah ka sa testimony ni Pastor Daniel Ekechukwu? he died and goes to hell for unforgiveness.. but Jesus gave him 2nd chance because of his wife's prayer. https://onecanhappen.wordpress.com/2...r-tells-story/
mu-pick sad ko ani duha ka verse bro.. hehe..
about sealed sa Holy Spirit, nowhere in the Bible will you see the claim that a person is ”sealed” with the meaning of not being able to lose his grip in Christ no matter what he does. Having a ”seal” often means to have a ”mark” as in being very special, and we as christians with the holy Spirit are indeed ”a peculiar people”. We are marked as long as we remain in the vine, but a branch can be cut off the vine due to lack of fruit. If a marked born again christian could never lose his grip in Christ, he could definitely afford to hate, refuse to forgive a brother, deny Jesus. Sealed UNTO the day of redemption, but a seal can be broken Eph. 4:30 | Bjorkbloggen
and about sa snatch...
"Nobody can pluck us from the Father's hand" (John 10:28-29)
If you back up one more verse, you'll find some missing information about this passage; in verse 27, we find that true sheep will follow Christ:
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:27-28
In regards to somebody plucking us out of the Father's hand, this is referring to men who would attempt to remove us from the Father's hand. It would be dangerous if men were able to remove us from the hand of God, wouldn't it? No man can take eternal life away from us, regardless how hard they try. Just as no man can force us to sin, but we, by our own choice, can fall into sin. We are told to abide (remain) in Jesus, and when we do, we will produce much fruit. If we do not abide in Jesus, and therefore fail to bear fruit, then we can be removed from the vine (Jesus) and thrown into the fire to be burned.

5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
