    Nutrition Facts About Corn:
Corn is rich in phosphorous, magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper, iron and selenium. It also has small amounts of potassium.

Cereals are the prime source of calories for many people. The caloric value of most cereals lies between 330 to 350 calories per 100 grams. The calorific value of corn is 342 calories per 100 grams.
There are no particular health benefits of corn, except for the fact that it provides necessary calories for daily metabolism of the body.Corn is good for skin care, as well as for boosting the nervous system, improving digestion, and maintaining low cholesterol levels.

Nutritional Value of Rice: Rice is also a very popular cereal consumed throughout the world. It is a staple food for many people residing in Asia and on other continents. It is available in many varieties.

    Nutrition Facts About Rice:
Rice is a good source of protein, phosphorus and iron. It also contains some amount of calcium. Most of the nutrients and minerals in rice are concentrated in the outer brown layers known as the husk and germ. Therefore, brown rice, which is rice from which only husk has been removed, is the most nutritious type of rice.
Unfortunately, many consumers prefer pseudo-cosmetic preferences and demand white rice or polished rice, in which the germ and bran has been removed, making it less nutritious.
    Caloric Content of Rice:
There is no other food item that provides calories and energy to the world as much as rice. It is not wrong to say that most of the people in the world are able to do their daily activities due to rice. Rice has about 345 calories per 100 grams. Furthermore, it is very easy to digest rice and hence most of these calories are absorbed by the body. How many times has it happened with you that you have eaten a stomach full of rice and have felt hungry just one hour later?
    Vitamin Content of Rice:
Rice contains vitamin B in small quantities.
    Health Benefits of Rice:
The nutritional value of rice makes it good for the treatment of indigestion, diarrhea, dysentery, nausea, skin disorders, and high blood pressure.

Mas BETTER ang MAIS kaysa white rice Why? One is because lower ug glycemic index ang mais (mga 60+) kaysa white rice (mga 80+).

Pwede ra pod brown or red or black rice instead of white.

kini maoy maayong alternative sa rice specially sa mga diabetics. ang mais kay ma spike gihapon sa insulin level which is not good for diabetics. Very filling, yummy like rice and its a vegetable! You can use brocolli or cauliflower include the stalk para sulit
