the best visa to apply would be visa sub class 189 & 190.
i'm also planning to move my family to australia. naa mi sa kuwait ron, ako work was avaya telecommunication engineer, although business admin grad ko sa USJR (simang kaayo no?) but most of my experience was in the IT field after graduating mn gud.
quick question lang sir mac, unsa imo specialty sa IT? pila na ka ka-years nagwork ana? ang minimum requirement sa australia kay dapat at least 3 years naka ana nga work to claim 10 points mn tingali to.
ang pagapply sa australia is through points system & if i'm not mistaken, ang minimum score to get a PR visa 189 is 60 points as an IT professional. at least for my case as a telecommunication engineer.
naa pud sila certain points for age so ako pa nimo, apply naka as early as you can. for me 25 points nalang ko ky nalapas nako sa 30 points na age bracket.
anyways, magtinabangay ta diri as much as possible. since pareha mn ta maccebu nga nagsugod pa & pareho pud ta pamilyado na, so here are the things that i came to know from my research.
1. gather all your documents, diploma, certification(special skills, marriage, birth, employment, etc), passport, basta all important & official papers about you & your family, gather it all & have it ready.
2. you need to take IELTS exam. if maka-score ka ug band 7 overall, that will give you 10 points. if maka-score ka ug band 8 overall, that will give you 20 points.
it's up to you if you want to take up review classes on IELTS but daghan kaayo resources available sa net, just be diligent & resourceful enough to find them.
3. you will need to contact an assessment body to evaluate your chosen skillset. i think sa ila ni ms moonwitchbleu was through ACS diba? mine is through EA(engineers australia). anhi ko nakuyawan coz ako baya diploma business admin nya ako work is telecommunication engineer. although naa ko certification sa avaya through pearson vue.
4. then once if ok nana tanan, submit naka sa EOI through sa immi.gov.au na website. wala pa ni nako nabuhat so i'm not sure what comes next after that.
maybe ms moonwitchbleu can enlighten us what the next steps will be after pagsubmit na nimo sa EOI.
