mga boss, naa koy three-way nga aquarium, glass ang ga divide nya permanent siya. unsaun nako ni pag heat sa water ani each compartment? kay ako planu i butang sa ako kwarto nya naa may ac so basin mamatay ang mga isda. salamat kaayo mga boss!

First boss, get a thermometer. See pila jud ang temp sa imu fish tank. Most fishes used in a planted tanks lives in a range of 20-26c. Medyo bugnaw ila ganahan. Tanks in room temp dri sa cebu w/o aircon usually naa sa 25-31C. Medyo taas...
My tank naa japon sa aircon area sa amo house to help lower the temp i even use a cooling fan to help it lower some more...
Plus most plants ganahan sad ug bugnaw na water, like x-mas moss, java ferns and etc...
But take note not all fishes ganahan ug bugnaw na water. So first learn you water's temp during On and Off sa aircon. Next see unsa dapat temp conditions na bagay sa each sa imu fish and maybe sad sa imu plants.
Now if dapat ipa taas jud ang temp sa imu water. Unya u have a 3 way na tank, since dli practical putting a heater on each compartment see if you can add a heater sa imu filter.

kanang, ask ta ko if nag DIY ba mo ug LED lighting? or ga invest jd mo'g clip on nga lamps para sa aquarium..

hehe.. feel mn gd naku ako 13watts nga esl/cfl JEBO13 lamp kay dili enough para dali mutubo ug au ang HC ni sir hydro haha..

tried looking for DIY led lamps pero ga nosebleed mn ko's nakit-an naku sa google haha..
pde ra man guro unta kanang t5 or t8 nga 9w led tubes nu? nya ako lng i butang sa babaw jd sa aquarium haha.. kuyawan lng ko mabasa nya ma short na nuon >_<

Daghan man maka influence sa growth speed sa plants... Having a good light source is one, pro you also need a good source of CO2. and nutrients sa water column (Fertilizers)... Since imu tanks is 2.5 gals. I think your light is enough. You might have to look at your CO2 levels. Ga excel ka dba? that would help. But remember HCs are naturally slow plants, and would really take time para mo adjust. If nahan ka upgrade sa CO2 tank, mas maayo... Also get ferts, gamay2x lang dose kay gamay man ka tank... i think nahan sad ni cya medyo bugnaw na water 20-26... dli ko sure...

Now to answer your Q? Nag DIY ko na LED lamps...I used 3W GES MR16 LED Lights, Wide angle, Day Light... 16 pcs... 300+ per piece and ako cya gi install sa built in hood sa ako tank. Mahal japon, hehehe pro mas nahan ko kay i am able to use my hood... Pro if i didn't have the built in hood sa ako tank i would have bought the zetlight sa pipers... Check sa aquamagic naa na cla cheaper brands sa Led lights if nahan jud ka mag led...

hmm, mangita lng nya ko'g mga tutorials for diy hoods hehe.. interested ko maghimu for my tank kay wala mn baligya decent nga LED clip-on gd.. 3watts ang highest, nya if kato pd mahalon, di pd xa worth for a beginner hobbyist like m hehe..

Good day guys. Mangayo lang unta ko sa inyong suggestion kung unsay maayo nga filter system nga gamiton for a 75 gallon planted tank? Some say nga canister filter daw pero mejo pricy man kaayo. Mejo tight akong budget kay naa pa koy palitonon nga mga plants, drift wood and etc. for my planted tank. Your opinions and suggestions could help my budget

pro really ang pinaka important man jud is the media used because mau man jud na ang mo filter... Mechanical and Biological. So if mag use ka ug other filters make sure you use a good media... I think isa sa mga top kay Power Material and Seachem na Matrix for Biological filtration. And use foam for mechanical... Also make sure maayo sad ang water current sa imu gi choose na filter...

Personally, dli jud ko advice hood for plated tanks...
1. Water temp increases...
2. Gas exchange decreases...

Also for small tanks mas nindot ang mga small forms of lights... So that the view will be centered on what's inside the tank, wlay block sa view...

Ok, check their lights pro know that there are cheaper brands other than zetlight...
