If the answer is the latter, then, they probably have sold out... anyway, i don't really care about that.. what matters is that, whenever a band is accused of selling out, a million other listeners are turned on to their music... but i still believe that there should always be a certain measure of creativity involved.. dili lang porke magbuhat ka ug kanta na murag otcho-otcho...
    nicely said man..

pero para nako di man tingali ka sell-out kung grabe gihapon imong gi himo...

calling all indie musicians, artists, songwriters..
    let's rise...

i think we should make an indie stronghold here in cebu.. cmon, its hard to survive the music scene if we're not super rich dudes.. so why not let's create ONE platform for us to promote our own original music, get heard..., being in a group with common goals will help us get to our dreams.

Lisod gyud bai.

Kanang mga grupo grupo sa banda.. people have tried to di it. Preha sa SCUM ug SRA... they were successful pero to a certain extent lang. It's so easy to say "RISE, UNITE, ACT!!" pero ug wa kay supporta sa imong masa/following, wala gihapon.

Anyhow.. what matters is that we enjoy what we do.. signed or not, getting paid or not.. bahalag di makabawi sa gasto sa jamming/recording/equipments/pamlete, payts ra.. lingaw man... di ra ikaw ang malingaw, malingaw pa ang uban taw.

coz people or listeners dili sila ganahan sa genre or style sa music kay nag stick lang sila og 1 genre kung heavy, heavy ra jud ila ganahan mao na dili sila ka appreciate sa mga sell out na mga banda labi na kung naa sila sa mainstream

LOL ... same here bai. I've been playing in bands for almost 20 years na. Bisag karon sige lang gihapon ug tukar. Do I hope to get signed sometime in the near future? Oh yes! Pero, on the other hand, I'm also very realistic that the chances of that happening is very slim. But realizing that, it still won't stop me from playing music `cause that's one of the things I enjoy in life. Getting a record deal won't complete me as a musician, but getting a record deal might make life easier.
