B593s-22 LTE query -- HELP!

Hey istoryans,

I'm new here so I was quite wondering if you guys could help.

I recently purchased an LTE router (namely above) from a seller here in istorya. I was quite happy with the item. No problems with the transaction, and the seller was very honest towards his listing.

So, back to the problem. I used to live in Mabolo wherein I had an LTE Plug it for my online games. I was amazed as the Plug It was able to survive massive gaming with my latency/ping remaining ever so low. I only had 2 bar signals and everything was going very very well. I had 11mbps max with the LTE Plug It and 6mbps minimum.

I recently transferred to Cashra, Lahug (ahead of Marco Polo Plaza and Hotel) due to business needs (then I bought the LTE router). Before I tried using the router, I used my Plug It. To my shock, I had 500 BYTES/SEC for my speed. YES, BYTES. And the signal received was 2 bars as well. So I was wondering that something might have been wrong with my Plug It. Maybe it was just broken. So I tried the router. When I tried it, SAME THING. 500 BYTES/SEC.

Nag away na mi sa akong partner as I invested too much on the router. I planned to buy an antenna, to increase my signal. Namely the antenna in mind is:

(Similar ani, pero SMA male and plug)

Question is, how come that this is the speed I get? I'm using SMART as my network, btw. If I buy an antenna, would I surely get a stronger speed? I need assurance as di na ko ganahan maki'g away. Haha. Please help, istoryans.

try using another lte sim, maybe smart has implemented capping on your sim. the simplest solutions would be to switch your lte sim regularly/weekly. do not register 30day lte service.

Hi, and thanks for the reply. I have used three different LTE sims on both devices. All three cater to the same results. Any other ideas?

tungod ni sa congestion sa lugar or basig wdcma/3G ra ang masagap sa imong device maong hinay na..

Yes, congestion could be a cause. Pero my house in Mabolo was as congested as now kay mas dagko ang mga concrete houses didto. Here, most houses are made from kahoy nya di kaayo dagko ang houses.

I don't know if 3G/WDCMA ang ma kuha niya. How do I know? And would buying an antenna help gather LTE signal?

Yes, congestion could be a cause. Pero my house in Mabolo was as congested as now kay mas dagko ang mga concrete houses didto. Here, most houses are made from kahoy nya di kaayo dagko ang houses.
