[Troubleshooting] Razer Kraken Pro mic not working/detected

Specs:
Mobo: Asus P9x79 deluxe
Razer Kraken Pro (not usb, single jack)

Problem:
The mic is not working or detected. The mic works fine when tested with a different pc or laptop. I was able to use the mic weeks ago without problem, but now it suddenly stopped working. I plugged the mic on my razer chroma keyboard (just additional info). It does not work when plugged at the back port and I haven't tried using an adapter.

Troubleshooting done:
1. Fresh install of windows 8.1 and installed drivers from Asus website.
2. Tested mic with a different device or pc and it works fine.
3. Installed an older audio driver.

What could be the problem? Anybody else having this issue? Please help and share your ideas. Thanks.

make sure imo soundcard drivers gamit is from motherboad-driver-CD or updated driver from asus para sa imo mboard model/soundcard model. then gamita ang included na control panel, usually located sa lower-right.

Yes @kabutix. Same OS sa 2 laptops na akong gitestingan. Mo work ang iya mic but not on this desktop even after reinstalling this from scratch.

how about try using another headphone with mic boss. i-test sa imung pc kung ok raba ang laing hp w/ mic, possible tale ni give up na ang hardware sa imung pansakanan ug mic.
