need help adding wifi router to a PLDT my dsl wifi modem

nag upgrade ko ug speed sa pldt to 3 mbps. They give me a new modem which is PROLINK prs1240B.
now my problem i need to connect my linksys wifi router WRT54G.

akong previous modem sa pldt kay zyXEL without the wifi. naka connect raman akong linksys router sa previous modem sa pldt.

hard to explain in words, but i know how to set-up :V,

open admin panel sa imong pldt modem gamit ang browser. type the ip of the modem ( 192.168.xxx.xxx) tan-awa lang luyo sa pldt modem. log-in admin user and password. if nka dhcp imong pldt modem you can manually set the linksys wifi router. i set static ang ip sa imong linksys wifi router. (eg:192.168.254.2 for globe) then enable dhcp sa imong linksys wifi router. wolllaaahhhh,

or pinaka dali, open cmd, type ipconfig - locate ipv4. it should be 192.168.xxx.xxx, then unplug your lan to the pldt modem.

try to change your ip sa default sa linksys wifi modem ( 192.168.1.1 if dli ko sayop )

• Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, clicking Network and Sharing Center, and then clicking Manage network connections.
  
• Right-click the connection that you want to change, and then click Properties. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  
• Click the Networking tab. Under This connection uses the following items, click either Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) lick properties
  
  
• enable Use the following IP address: sa ip address tab type 192.168.1.2. (dapat dli pariha ang ip nimo sa linksys modem.) click sub-net. dapat mo gawas ang 255.255.255.0 then ok

mo promp ana kay limited ang imong network.

next step connect the linksys wifi modem sa imong pc/laptop via lan cable.

open browser then type sa address bar ang ip sa imong linksys wifi modem. 192.168.1.1



PS: for me ayaw sa pag set ug password sa imong wifi modem para dali ra nimo ma confugure if sayop.

if wala pwd rman na nato i set-up kay nka enable man ang dhcp ana. unplug your pc/laptop sa network.. connect the linksys wifi modem sa imong pc/laptop. if nka static imong pc try to make it dynamic.

click obtain ip automaticaly. - click ok..

then open cmd - type ipconfig - locate default gateway. mau na ang ip sa imong linksys wifi modem.

open browser. type and ip sa imong linksys wifi router. then log-in credentials. after change the ip of your linksys wifi modem nga nka set-up sa imong pldt modem. (eg: 192.168.xxx.200 - for me 200 para easy to remember ) then restart linksys wifi modem. then connect both unit sa imong pldt modem.

i connect nlng daan ang linksys wifi modem sa pldt. pero try to reset factory sa daan para sure ta nga reset gyd.. hehehe

i chage ang ip sa imong pldt to 192.168.1.249 then restart. ma putol ang imong internet ana mga 1-2 mins. pero mo balik rana.

after ana if ok na ang internet. open browser then type 192.168.1.1 if mka sulod ka if dili restart imong pc after ana i think solve na imong problem.
