Lets expound that idea even further... dli na tungod sa religion ra...thats is the very nature of man. He lives in this world through two ways, on his own hard work, or living off on others hard work. whichever is th easiest, he will pursue that. Most people would very much spare themselves some if not whole of hardwork, and find ways to benefit from others work, with or without consent. thats why it is important to foster the first way of living, independence because society will prosper. But the temptation is strong on doing the second, especially if our government encourages it. Beggars come in all classes, businesses calling for subsidies to pioneer an industry, farmers calling for financial aid during times of small harvest, seniors solo moms and disabled calling for regular support, etc.... All of these are fostering dependence, parasitism of those whose hard work are being redistributed to others, with or without consent. all though we call them necessary charities, but real charity is voluntary, coming from one's own pocket.. and since government has no pocket of itself, it engages in robinhoodism.... Real charity helps people to be independent, not to be dependent and expecting more charity. such is th woe of honest hardworking men, the very moment they only hint of questioning this practice, they face accusations of selfishness, greed, and uncharitable spirit.
