People in visayas and mindanao usually feel sad when they know that the most who benefited the taxes being collected are from luzon. the reason is also simple, that 70% and above revenue from taxes also come from luzon. we feel that it is unfair for people outside luzon because there are benefits that only them can enjoy... 1 good example is the LRT/MRT. Actual fare for MRT is P53.96 and passengers only pays P12.5. Actual fare for LRT is P34.74 and passengers only pays P14.28... Who pays the rest? It's the government who gives the subsidy, budget taken from the taxes. Who benefit those? Only people from luzon....Are there any similar benefits outside luzon? None that I know...
