with experience comes quality.. to think pila ka years ang lead ang China sa manufacturing. Surely they already have the edge and knowledge para mo produce ug quality products.. produce or assemble. But then again, they seek cheaper and "mediocre" products due to demand pd. If mag continue ni, then continue pod and demand and patronize sa ilang product, wala jd tay dag-anan nila. naa na gani fake rice ni sulod sa market na manufactured from China... asa mo mangita ana.

dili necessary boss. always remember its all about supply and demand. if the world market demands high quality products, im sure china will produce. but trend nowadays, global market demands cheap products, people wants to buy cheap things. naa gani saying cheaper the better.haha. but we really get what we paid for. quality comes with a cost. are we able to afford it? maybe to some few but majority of the global market demands cheap products. its all about supplying demand.

Ok boss, let's not argue and deviate from what we are discussing here.. let's consider possibilities hinuon and hope na maka compete ang pinas sa China in terms of manufacturing. China is becoming a manufacturing superpower, and this is true and the momentum seems unstoppable, but until when.

fyi lang pod, kanang lansang, alambre o unsang puthaw.. na pod tawn ta manufacturing sa pinas, so ayaw e broadcast lage na tanan from china.

yup mao gani, if mo ignon na basta made in china low quality.. not true. naa pod nice and quality kay they have the knowledge and technology naman pod. Cheaper man ang demand so mao na ilang gina mass produce. In other words, will China is the sole bearer of world leading manufacturing country which resemble Saudi Arabia's position in world oil markets.

Ang ako lang is, does the world economy dependent na sa China as an industrial lifeline?

in my opinion, since china is no. 2 in the world market, then yes. but it is now starting to shift. manufacturing sectors are starting to shift.

and china is trying very hard to compensate

I work in a retail company that sources a lot of their merchandise from China. Mind you, retail practices are universal. Walmart, Carrefour, Metro, Shopwise, SM, they all source some of their merchandise from China. More than 70% of retailers, manufacturers and wholesalers across the world visit Xiamen and Guangzhou to source materials and merchandise.

The Philippine-made or other "imported" apparel items that you buy?!?! The cloth or most of its materials are bought from China.
90% of toys sold in the market have been produced or have parts produced in China. Call all the holy western suppliers of gadgets and appliances, and they'll all tell you the same thing: some of their parts ARE produced in China. Construction materials? Yep, its raw mats are brought from China. Look up, see that light on your ceiling? Yep, you got a little piece of China right above you.

If we're serious about boycotting the world's banker, let's go up to the mountains, let's dig ourselves a nice round hole, and let's live off with grass and any small insects that come our way.

For third world countries like ours, boycotting China means boycotting civilization as we know it. Harsh and sad reality.
