Maybe this was due to China's bold move especially on the disputed island.. no one really wants to invest on a country that has started to irate neighboring countries. China's true color has emerge and hence, becoming unaware of the ripples of its actions.

sakto gyud. also, ang ilang economy heavily depends on the manufacturing sector. but manufacturing sectors are not reliable long term. what if naay muabot nga nasud nga mas barato ang labor ug ayus ang infrastructure. then wa na mabyaan na. take Mexico for example, they are currently kicking china's arse.

plus proximity to the US makes them more viable to put up good manufacturing sites as companies will definitely save a lot money due to shipping cost.

if all SEA nation do collective action to stop the manufacturing monopoly... then its not impossible... if nation start making a collective effort in gaining the favors of the business people... as for raw materials... china is not the only source... there are other sources....

mao ni siyay usa sa tumong sa ASEAN Integration boss. para seamless ang transfer of knowledge and products and raw materials althroughout ASEAN Nations. logistics plays an important role ani nga economic cooperation. this is one reason nganong china ilang gi-angkon ang spratlys kay kana nga area is a valuable shipping lane to execute this asean integration. vietnam and indonesia are already doing good things sa ilang infra to accomodate manufacturing companies.
