just need advise or it can be of help then it's good ...


ask unta ko if i-uninstall ang existing Outlook 2010 then install Outlook 2013, automatic bah ma-detect ang pst data file sa Outlook 2013?


o kinahanglan pa i-manually trace ang path asa ang location sa pst file using now the newly installed Outlook 2013?

I'm not so sure, but to be on the safe side before you uninstall your Outlook 2010, backup/copy first all the PST files to a safe location and create a new folder and store it there, once you have backup/copied your PST files, you may already uninstall Outlook 2010 and install Outlook 2013, if the new version is already installed, what you need to do is just IMPORT the PST files.

any way, as what i have experienced recently nga Outlook 2013 will not automatically detect or locate the .pst-file that was previously created using Outlook 2010


it needs to be manually upload into Outlook 2013 either through "Open Outlook Data File" or "Import" in which you have the options to "Chose an action to perform"


i really thought nga no need na to configure or set the path for the .pst-file in Outlook 2013 once it's previous predecessor has been uninstalled

so as a workaround, i really have to completely uninstall first Outlook 2010 before installing Outlook 2013 then upload the pst-file or make the file path correct for the data

if mu-crash sya, have you tried just removing Outlook 2010. And then try to reopen 2013?

e manual pa jud nimo ug locate iyang .pst bai...i strongly suggest that use filter/roles in you outlook
