OT: i think viewsonic purchase their panels from samsung... hehehe... i think there are only 4 manufacturers of LCD panels out there... namely samsung, sony, panasonic and toshiba... i hope i got it right... and all other LCD manufacturers buy panels from them... pareha ra ni sa logic sa nike... made in usa ang tatak pero if you look under the padding in the sole it made either in philippines, indonesia or china...

by the way, sakto mo every manufacturer has their own guide when to replace a LCD unit.

Toshiba, samsung and sony pareha ra LCD panels. Ila panels kay made in korea and malaysia. Ni ask nko ana sa ka2 sweto2x sa avant sa ayala. Sharp and Hitachi lng daw ang panles from japan. Hitachi order basis ila lcd.

i'm not sure if sharp make their own panels. i think they buy it from toshiba then assembled by sharp.

by the way, what i mean from "panels" is the LCD itself without the plastic casing, stand-offs and power supply.

Bro unsa rule na2 about stuck pixel sa LCD tv na2? Naa na replacement bnew or depende sa warranty rules sa manufacturer? Ganiha lang nko na notice ako samsung 32inch R8 model naa usa ka stuck pixel. If color black ra noun. Naa dot na blue pero sa black ra sad na color. kng ako i white, red or blue di lagi ma kta ang dead pixel. Naa way para ma au ni stuck pixel?
