Kinsa nay nakasuway dri nga gipa register nila ang ilang pet(i.e. geckos, Iguana, sugar glider, snakes) sa DENR?

Pila bayad pa register? Unsay requirements? Unsay process?

Or basin naay taga DENR dri nga Istoryans. Please advice.

Register your pets, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – National Capital Region (DENR-NCR) cautioned pet lovers

In the wake of the intensified campaign being waged against illicit trading of wildlife, DENR-NCR Regional Executive Director Neria A. Andin reminds the public to buy only from registered pet shops and have the newly purchased pets registered with the DENR. "You won't get into trouble if you buy from legitimate wildlife traders and have them registerd," Andin said. Acquisition, possession, transport and trade of species are subject to permit from the DENR in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act 9147 or the Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act of 2001, she added.

For non-threatened species (any species that is not at the brink of extinction) numbering to 50 heads, the Certificate of Wildlife Registration is issued without registration fee except for the minimal fee Php 50.00 to cover administrative cost and services. There is a fee pf Php 500.00 for the registration of 51-100 heads, Php 750.00 for 101-200 heads and for 201 and above, the registration fee is Php 1000.00. Processing of CWR takes three (3) days.

Transporting of newly acquired pets from Metro Manila to the provinces requires a permit called Wildlife Local Transport Permit (LTP) which can be secured also from the DENR. Having transport permit on hand will spare the owner from inconvenience while in transit, Regional Technical Director Donna Mayor-Gordove of the Protected Areas Wildlife and Coastal Zone Management Services (PAWCZMS) explained. For endemic (native or unique to a place), indigenous (native but not unique) and exotic (non-native but deliberately or accidentally introduced to a new habitat) species, a Php 100.00 processing fee is required. Processing time is one day.

Bringing wildlife outside of the country also need a Wildlife Export Certification (WEC) for Non-CITES (classification under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) and CITES Export Permit (CEP) for CITES species. For non-commercial (1 to 2 pairs of pet), Php 250.00 is paid for CEP while WEC costs Php 50.00 plus Php 150.00 inspection fee. Export fee for commercial purposes of fauna and its by-products is computed as 3 percent of export value plus Php 300.00 inspection fee.

dli ang cost/expense sa pag register ang problema ani mga bro kay ma afford raman jud. ang #1 na problem kung sa illegal/non-registered breeder na palit imong pet, kay if mao ni ang case wla jud chance na ma register ang imo pet nagi palit. pariha rag pcci papers na dli ka pa register sa dog if dli registered ang breeder.

To start with, buy pets directly from legit breeders who has farm permit/cwr.

I think sa NCR ra ni nga law boss. Dili ni applicable dri sa Cebu. Not sure kung unsa dri ang patakaran dri sa Cebu.

yeah, most of the exotic breeders dri boss kay wala jud permit, maihap ra jud ang naay papers. That's why nag ask ko dri kung pwede ba magpa register kung walay papers daan. Ang DENR daw kay mag need daw sila ug Captive Breed Certificate before ma register imo pet.

Nakasuway naka pa register boss? Naa mi fb group, mo suway ta mi ug pa register sa amo mga pet. Nag sabot pa mi.. hehehehe

Not sure anang puppy boss pero ang kanang puppy dili man guro na kinahanglang ug papers.. Dili pa man guro na exotic. hehehehe
