not, which is advantage when you are into long travels. it is using a diaphragm type carburetor (forgot the specific name but its a good carb).

di ni hinimo sa kymco? as far as i can remember LX FREE man ang base ani. but good bike nonetheless and indeed a unique scoot. was supposed to get this baby other than the suzuki skydrive but i chose the latter due to "10cc" more capacity of the SD. and at that time i thought the curve was going to get phased out. dunno with kawasaki why they have so weak scooter line up pero overall this is a very good bike pang utility kaayo.

some parts are by kymco, the top brand in europe (some say this is assembled by kymco but i heard this is manufactured in kawasaki plant in muntinlupa... whichever of the two, expect quality is good) anyhow, this is a revamped lx free; there are changes in the engine(also in outlook i guess) as implemented by kawasaki as well.

kawasaki is known for their big sport bikes; this is their only one scooter vehicle.

indeed a utility scooter bike, it can even carry inside my mid-size travel bag with camera and clothings (i have driven long distances with this already, round south and round north, with an outlook of somewhat not bringing something ^^ ).. the footboard is also very wide/huge that can let you carry more cargo.

anyhow, it can even climb the highest roads on transcentral highway (far higher than that mountain view's and top's), tried and tested with a passenger(backride) and a travel bag with full of stuffs including a dslr camera inside its huge storage compartment under the seat.


i dont think its phased out since mine is the 2015th release as per document.

you can buy in "gud moto trading" motorcycle stores like in their newest branch in p. del rosario street near sunstar cebu. there is a big signage of "kawasaki". they have also stocks in their other branches in mandaue and one there going old mactan bridge.

you can also get this in "emcor","reliance motors", "des marketing" stores (subject to availability of stocks). probably motortrade has no stocks anymore of this(not sure though, you can verify with their different branches) due to i have observed there are several running in cebu of the first release version.

i believe you can also get one from kawasaki main office in hernan cortes...

thanks. no plans; its stock performance is more than enough for me... 'probably' in the coming years if id like to experiment. why asking?

thanks. surprisingly this is the lowest cost scooter(talking about unrevised original price), for only 61k brandnew (still negotiable if bought cash; i believe can go 59k).


** lowest cost(unrevised original price) but the smartest/best features (in its category/level)
