if ok ang quality, then no problem for me....all schools not just catholic schools employ teachers, staffs etc. and must operate the school to the highest standards possible...it is a balancing act jud sa school nga dli sila magpataka pamahal sa tuition vs. hiring the best teachers and outstanding facilities...ang importante is ang end result which is the quality of education nga magatag...
i graduated in a catholic school from elementary to college..yes galisod mig bayad sa tuition and cge kog promisory note sauna but to look back sa ako naagian, wla rako magmahay and nalipay rasad ko...
Also don't blame the religion look at the people who is responsible of such act. Naa man gihapon nag tinarong nahabilin.
you have to pay for the teachers and naa pa na mga benefits i.e insurances, CBA etc.
pay for maintenance of buildings, equipments
payment for utilities
so on and so forth.......
unlike before na gamay pa population makaya pa sa mga priest and other religious to teach in classes mao either barato or almost free siya because they are not given regular salaries but allowances only. karon nga daghan na tao and there are not enough priest, nuns etc to teach/handle classes that's why they hire lay people and they have to pay their salaries and benefits. life was much simple back then like schools invest on books for their library. karon mga estudyante mangita na ug aircon na room, aircon na library, wifi sa campus, wifi sa library, aircon na gymnasium, aircon na school bus, sige palit new computer samot na hapit na mawala sa mga schools ang blackboard and so forth.
even non sectarian school share that problem.
regardless kung religious or non sectarian school na. even U* sobra ra kaayo ka commercialized kay i used to teach there.
if this is your idea of hitting specifically on catholic schools or the church next time try to do better.
if this is your idea of hitting on catholic schools or church better take a better shot next time or some place else.
you pay peanuts, you'll get monkeys.

Karon panahona, a good quality education has a price gyud.
Ako I had been a student from elementary to college from Catholic schools. They don't charge us as high as now for tuition. And to think they are tax free. I am not personally hitting on Catholic as a religion. What I am concern is that Catholic religion has become too commercialized in their activities. They should be concern on pastoral, spiritual, and even physical care and support to their people. As what others is writing here, I don't see, heard, or experience them helping those who are in desperate needs physically or even financially. I specifically more concern on the Catholic schools and what have they become...Too profit oriented. And that is not the goal of Christ....

Mao na. Sometimes you become confused on the purpose of the Catholics as institution and religion. Principles that you thought they should be is now being challenged by their new perspective and paradigm. Maayo pa mo balhin na lang ug laing religion that still has the same paradigm we thought good religion should be.
dobli kita, sa donation og sa comersyo...
mao na dyud na ilang mission...
