i don't see this as bad news for cafe owners. in fact that is good news for those who are abiding the law. this does not cost anything at all yet you get freebies that would distinguish you from those who do not sign. besides, the original EULA does not allow third party users to use the OS. this in simple terms simply upgrade your EULA so that cafe's can rent out the computers legally according to the new EULA. those who have the licenses only needed to sign up. (i guess this one way of keeping tab of who's naugty or nice-- easier to recognize those who are not legit -- no stickers -- not legit/EULA breach). Those who still has pirated copies still need to buy licenses and then sign up for the program.

i dont know yet the policy but you cannot just buy windows and make an internet cafe.
think you just need to fill out form that you will use it for internet cafe. no extra fee.

better call ngkhai for the licensing schemes for internet cafe.

@kornjulio, as mentioned above bout spyware how do you assure that microsoft latest spyware can protect us. d ba theres an experiences that microsoft takes too long to solve for this problem unlike opensource software?
