actually ang proposed roads sa BRT is giplanohan na for road widening, ang problema lang kung gidayon na ba sad....

Bulacao to Ayala ang phase 1 ani, i think ang problema na lang is ang Bulacao - Pardo area pa which is I think 4 lanes pa, i dont know kung nagwidening na ba..asta ang Escario kay so far 5 lanes sad ang most...

second phase kay sa Talamban area, utro sad 4 lanes, need pa ug widening, pero nakabalita ko nga giwiden na ang dapit sa may USC Talamban

sorry for being too pessimistic but this thing and even BRT won't work in cebu.

the roads are just too damn narrow.

i'll give you one example or examples .... look at all our flyovers, in tabunok, in mambaling, in banilad .... notice the teeny-tiny-one-vehicle-only access lane on it's sides

take a look at escario ?? the road within UP in lahug ??

our supposedly WIDE roads of N. Bacalso to Bulacao ??

with the number of new cars coming, will our roads really hold up to this influx of more BIG vehicles ( these buses )


the only solution is to make the roads wider, like make it two lanes wider on either side that it already is ... but that would need billions of pesos .... but the rewards would be super beneficial..
