Let's Talk about Sony PSP Slim and Thick!

ask lang ko mga bros, is there any difference sa old PSP ug sa new slim PSP?...or ang iya size ray g-usab or na a bay mga bag-ong features gibutang sa bag-o

Hmm... Let's start off with the weight. Its really light. If you own a fat psp, then you'll notice that the first second you hold on to it. Features, basically bigger RAM and the TV-out. Like I stated above, unless you have a tv with progressive scan, you won't benefit from playing psp on a bigger screen. You can play full screen movies though. One of the best thing about slim (for me, that is) is the redesigned directional buttons. It basically feels and plays better. It is very important for fighting games esp streetfighter types. ^_^

To buy Slim or not? If you ask me, with the slim difference in price, around 2k if you base it in local prices, I suggest getting a Slim. If you haven't noticed, most gamers with fat psps are getting rid of them so that they could migrate with the better slim version. Unless you really are hardcore on the Homebrew scene and can't wait for developers to migrate those softwares to the slim, then there's one answer. SLIM. :mrgreen:

i agree!! D pad of the PSP Slim is way better! and analog response is VERY much different! slight move to the right or left and you're there!

yup.. if you noticed, the buy/sell forum now or if not past weeks, it is flooded with PSPs for sale. PSP owners here are trying to dispose of the FAT ones to upgrade to SLIM.

though.. again.. like most opinions, its practically the same. other than the size, weight and TV output, both are so much alike. if you have the budget, go for it! if not, PSP Fat is just as good as the slim.

just tested the tv tuner here in japan...nindot kaayo na option...

lets just hope this would be compatible soon dha sa cebu coz 1seg raba iyang gamit... though wala pako slim diri ni palit ko sa tuner for my officemates slim...iya dad.on dha on oct 6 to test out sa tuner... hope naay good results...

later nlang ko palit sa slim and maybe white kai para dli maklaro kaayo ang fingerprints.. lol...

**nothing new raman diay kaayo ang pagcustomised sa slim...sayang kai dli lang makita nimu ang progress kai blak ra ang screen...**

ashleyriot just want to ask if the new set of colors for psp slim is release na ba sa japan? cause my supplier mention that.. there is a possibility na new set of colors daw will be release within the week or 2? so, i'm plannning to order has early para di maubusan ng stocks. and if the simpson edition is available na din. thanks.... :mrgreen:

so far all 6 colors are already here...but i doubt the limited ed like simpsons and spiderman would come through here coz euro will be having them...

in my opinion, the blume series are not that attractive even for a girls taste...its too much dead ang color nya... i wud personally prefer the ceramic white compared to the silver and the piano black now...except cguro if the final fantasy ed is still around (which i highly doubt..waahhh) LOL!

way cheaper than what was offered online... its around 10.5k only...the probs lang is ubos na lahat nung 1st day pa lamang..*sigh*...di ko na abotan kasi sept 13 kasi yung release nya rito at sa 20 na ung lipad ko... i did try asking my office mates but it was difficult also for them since there was no reservations for any of them as they were limited...so bale first come first serve....they could not leave for the day since it was on a work day kaya huli rin yung pagpunta nila sa store kasi medyo malayo rin sa office namin dito...

nakapalit nako tv out cable. yati kaayo orig ni 1.8K pero ang naka apan akong TV walay progressive scan WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

the only reason for me to get the silver would have been the crisis core edition but since its unobtainable for the moment, id prefer the white
over the glittering silver
