Let's talk about php syntax....


I need to understand more about php file uploads...
Nakakita ko sa source code pero wala ko kasabot sa syntax of php file upload kanang mo receive files dayon I save sa server...........

The secret to file upload is in the $_FILES autoglobal array. Once a file is uploaded, the $_FILES array is created with data for you to manipulate. Do a print_r on $_FILES and you'll get a chockfull of information.

I believe $_FILES gives you the type of file an uploaded file is. You can easily do a conditional to filter. Using javascript, it is also wise to do simple checks client-side.

There is no automatic way of doing it. Learn XML and format it yourself. You can also find a class on the internet that would do it. There has to be one out there.
